We purchased this beauty 150 miles from our store and drove it back. It performed flawlessly in every way and was a real pleasure to drive. If you have never been on a road trip in one of these ultra-luxurious land yachts, you have missed a truly wonderful driving experience. It’s amazing the attention this last of the big Lincoln line generates from the traffic around it. It’s a safe bet that many people from the younger crowd have never seen a car with this presence gliding down the road.

The Diamond Jubilee Mark V’s were only produced in 1978 to mark the 75th anniversary of the Ford Motor Company and they celebrated in style. Ford had decided that 1979 would be the last year of the big luxury liners and they pulled out the stops for the Diamond Jubilee models.

Only 5200 were produced in two colors, Diamond Blue and Jubilee Gold. The Blue is the most sought after color by collectors. Ford only made 2200 in this color and just 1500 with a moon roof, making our Lincoln a very rare piece.

Other distinctions included very high-end luxury cloth interiors with padded leather in high wear areas, ebony wood inserts on the instrument panel, door trim panels, front seat backs and console. It also came with a CB radio in the console. The carpeting was a sumptuous 36 oz. tiffany cut-pile. Special touches and attention to detail were incorporated in every element of the interior. Instrument panel lenses were bevelled with the look of cut glass. The outside edges of the opera windows were also bevelled, and featured diamond Jubilee script and a simulated diamond chip laminated between the glass. Even the keys had a wood tone insert. The Diamond Jubilee was the most luxurious and best equipped car of its time.

This Lincoln is in very nice condition and runs, drives and handles perfectly. It needs no mechanical work and is ready to be driven on a cross-country trip if you so desire. Everything works except the clock. All electrical components, power windows, seats, radio, etc. are in proper working order. It also has brand new tires in the correct size and whitewall width. The special umbrella and tool kit are still in the car.

Here is the opportunity to own an ultra-rare Lincoln at a very fair price. Please call or email with questions or to arrange a test drive.

"It has been two months to the day, since I took delivery of my '64 Studebaker. I am so happy to have her in my garage, in Albany, NY. My purchase experience with you and Masterpiece Vintage Cars was nothing short of "outstanding." As you know I am first time classic car buyer, and so I was very nervous purchasing a classic car sight unseen, some 1200 miles away in Indiana, and from a firm I had no previous knowledge of. Well, from the outset of my dealings with you, you made me feel comfortable talking to you. Thank you for patiently answering every one of my questions and for helping me understand every step of this process. You made it so easy! In summary the car (64 Studebaker Daytona) was exactly as you advertised and described to me. The photos on your website were spot on, absolutely no discrepancies with what was presented to me and then delivered to my home. The financials and transaction paperwork process went very smoothly and subsequently the registering and plating of my '64 Studebaker in New Your state took only 20 minutes. The shipment of new 'old classic car' to my home went perfectly. I do not have a single complaint. I could go on and on as to how pleased I am with my purchase of a classic Studebaker, however I have to get back to work. I will close by saying thank you so much for making my purchase such a smooth and great experience. I find myself looking at your website every day, looking to purchase another classic car from you. I have the classic car collectors bug, and you are the reason for it."
