The Javelin was produced from 1967-1974. Designed by the world famous and highly respected Richard Teague. Teague was known for his innovative styling and ability to think outside the box. Despite management’s insistence on things like good trunk space and rear seat room, Teague managed to endow the Javelin with what he termed the “Wet T-Shirt Look”, voluptuous curves with not a hint of fat.
The AMC Javelin served as the company’s entrance into the “Pony Car “market created by the Ford Mustang. It featured a smooth semi-fastback roofline that set it apart from its peers. The bulging fenders and other creative touches made it instantly recognizable.
The car featured here is an especially attractive one with the sienna orange paint and cinnamon buff interior. This combination is very appealing to the eye and quite sporty as well. The paint and interior are in very nice condition and presents very well. All other cosmetic items are also in good shape and complete. Please examine our pictures closely and you will find this car to be in nice overall condition from the frame up.
This Javelin runs, drives and handles with no issues and offers an excellent way to enjoy a classic car that’s a little different from the crowd. As an added bonus, you won’t have to spend a big wad of money to own it.
